Showing an intellectual honesty too rare among self-styled intellectuals regardless of their politics, Bawer has discovered that Europe's fundamentalists are a lot worse and a lot more dangerous than America's even in their most fervent mode. Bawer doesn't flinch from the fact that Europe's fundamentalists are Muslims.
