: "'Jackass Number Two' romped its way to a strong box office debut, leaving the rest of the weekend competition far behind, according to data released Sunday by industry tracker Box Office Mojo.
'Jackass,' a sequel featuring Johnny Knoxville and friends performing bizarre, outrageous and usually painful stunts, opened on just over 3,000 screens and grossed $28.1 million for the three-day period from Sept. 22 to Sept. 24. The film, released by Viacom's (VIA: news) Paramount, had a production budget of $11.5 million."
