Ottawa County tells Michigan officials it plans to launch health insure program for low-income residents
"Whether the offering gets off the ground will depend on if it can secure state funding.
If the state approves, the nonprofit plan would qualify for state funding based on its membership.
The funding would range from $132 per member if Ottawa is designated urban to $157 if designated rural, Knol said.
'It would be cost neutral to the county,' she said."
