The Grand Valley State University energy center in Muskegon is getting out of fuel cell operations MLive.com
"The 250-kilowatt fuel cell, which converts natural gas directly into electricity, can produce much more power than the energy center building needs.
It was purchased, along with a solar roof and a battery storage system, with a $3 million alternative energy grant from the Michigan Public Service Commission."
No problem!
It was paid for with "free money"!
