Michigan is the only state to offer unlimited lifetime medical care for auto-related injuries under its no-fault auto insurance system.
Policy holders pay an extra $175 per insured vehicle each year for the Michigan Catastrophic Claims Association to reimburse auto insurers for personal injury protection (PIP) benefits after they exceed $500,000 per claim."
