"Voters in the Wyoming Public Schools district defeated a 25-year, $53.1 million tax request Tuesday, making it the only West Michigan community to not support school funding questions.
Seven other districts in Kent, Ottawa, Allegan and Barry counties emerged with convincing wins that will send much-needed revenue to improve the learning environments and safety of children, area district leaders said."
