"Obama administration officials said today they are sending someone to Detroit to coordinate a federal effort to help fix the city.
It's part of a plan by U.S. President Barack Obama that will commit at least $320 million to bankrupt Detroit, primarily through grants and other programs, to raze blighted buildings, hire police and firefighters and improve transit."
