County school business leader warns of financial storm brewing:"MUSKEGON, MI (Oct. 8, 2013) By 2016, all eleven public school districts in Muskegon County will be operating in the red.
Marios Demetriou, Deputy Superintendent of the Muskegon Area Intermediate School District (MAISD), shared this prediction with over 50 school leaders and board members during the Muskegon County School Boards Alliance meeting last night. Demetriou said,
“There is a hurricane coming.
We better start boarding up our houses before we are blown away.”"
