This is a great example of the “embrace of the free expression of ideas”, fraudulently promoted by almost all institutions of higher learning.
What really bothered me is, the whole idea is that at a liberal arts college, we need to be hearing a diversity of opinion. I don’t think we should be tolerating (Robert George‘s) conservative views because that dominant culture embeds these deep inequalities in our society. We should not be conceding to the dominant culture by saying that the so-called “progressive left” is marginalizing the conservative.

I personally don’t think it fair Erin Ching will be singled out because her views are consistent with the vast majority of thinking on liberal campuses like Swarthmore.
It’s sad that professors continue to distribute one-sided presentations to impressionable young people, turning them into the closed-minded they claim to abhor.
