"*** SCROLL DOWN FOR UPDATE – Sotloff family says Steven Sotloff was “Martyr for allah” and that the koran is “peaceful” ***
Even after their Islamo-pandering son was brutally beheaded by Muslims, Steven Sotloff’s parents can’t stop sucking up to his ISIS murderers.
Yesterday, they delivered a statement in Arabic to ISIS, addressing its leader as “the Caliph.”
The man they used to deliver their statement, Barak Barfi, is a friend of Steven Sotloff’s who identifies himself as “a brother of Islam speaking in the name of Islam,” which can only mean he, too, converted to Islam like Sotloff did.
What the hell kind of family does this after Muslims have beheaded their son?
(Barfi, who speaks fluent Arabic and has an Israeli name, is a pan-Arabist from the far-left New America Foundation think tank but he was well known as an anti-Israel correspondent for AP and producer for ABC News.)"
When people ask me how a Jewish kid could end up pandering to Muslims so much that he spent years living in Yemen, converted to Islam, and published story after story cheerleading ISIS, the Muslim Brotherhood, Al-Qaeda, and various other Islamic terrorist “rebels,” I tell those people to look at his parents. They raised him this way. The Sotloffs are leftist members of the Reform Judaism movement (as in, barely Jewish, completely ignorant, totally far-left).
And obviously, since they are still respectfully addressing ISIS leader Abu-Bakr Al-Baghdadi in his native Arabic and acknowledging him as “the Caliph,” they taught their now-dead son to respect these barbarians and their savage religion.
Well, now I know why he lost his head: it runs in the family.
*** UPDATE: Barfi, the Sotloff family spokesman, said the koran is “peaceful” and then said in Arabic that Steven Sotloff died a “martyr to allah.” The article says G-d, but if you listened to video of his statement, he says allah.
The family of Steven Sotloff, the second American journalist beheaded by Islamic State militants, said on Wednesday he was “a gentle soul”, and challenged the group’s leader to a debate on the peaceful teachings of the Muslim holy book, the Koran. . . . Barfi ended the statement with off-the-cuff remarks in Arabic, saying “Steve died a martyr for the sake of God [allah].”
