"Michigan is the only one state in America to make zero progress in 4th and 8th grade Math and reading test results between 2003 and 2013, according to the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP).
The American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) has just released their Report Card on American Education: K-12 Performance, Progress and Reform monograph which includes a detailed analysis of the NAEP testing results.
One of the study’s findings: “State academic achievement improved from 2003 to 2013, at least in one subject, with only a single exception – Michigan.”
The report breakdowns the scores by subject, grade, all students, low-income students, etc."
