"The president has withdrawn drilling leases in a salmon-rich area of Alaska's coast under his authority in the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act.
"Bristol Bay… supports $2 billion in the commercial fishing industry.
It supplies America with 40% of its wild-caught seafood.

Obama Dec. 16 declared Alaska's Bristol Bay off limits for oil and gas leasing indefinitely. 
The president first put a moratorium in 2010 on leasing to the energy industry in the area, which covers more than 52,000 square miles..."
