Denver schools have four times the administrators as other districts

Denver schools have four times the administrators as other districts - Watchdog.org:
"Denver Public Schools had four times the number of administrators as any other large metro area districts last year, and salaries and benefits for those staffers are $22 million more than the next largest metro district, Colorado Department of Education figures show.
...Colorado Department of Education figures show that in 2013-14 school year, DPS had 400 people classified as administrators for a school district with about 11,500 overall employees and nearly 86,000 students.
...People classified as administrators at DPS jumped from 338 in 2012-13 to 400 — an 18 percent increase in just a year, the state figures that track staff turnover at districts show."
