Detroit-based Exxodus Pictures awarded $1.3 million from state for 3 made-in-Michigan films | Crain's Detroit Business:

Exxodus Pictures LLC, based in the Madison Building in downtown Detroit, has been awarded $1.3 million in incentives to shoot three feature-length films in Michigan.

The projects are expected to generate 99 jobs, including 20 full-time, and $3.7 million in production expenditures, according to a news release from the Michigan Economic Development Corp.

These are the first projects approved by the state for fiscal year 2015.
