BIRCH RUN, MI — Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is drawing thousands to Birch Run during his first campaign stop in Michigan.
Trump is featured as the keynote speaker at an Aug. 11 Lincoln Day event that will serve as a fundraiser for the Saginaw and Genesee County Republican parties.
Several federal, state and local politicians plan to attend the fundraiser.
Many have strong feelings about their choice to either attend or skip it.
