A heroic California high school student, who saved a blind classmate from a bully, has learned that no good deed goes unpunished.
The scene, captured on video by a bystander at Huntington Beach High School, shows the hero student rushing in and punching a bully who was hitting the blind student in the head and knocking him to the ground with one punch.
The bully was left lying on the ground bleeding while the hero, identified by the New York Daily News as Cody Pines, attended to the blind student to see if he was ok.
As he checked on the victim, Pines looked back at the bully, identified by the News as Noah, and said “You trying to jump a f***ing blind kid, bro? What the f*** is your problem?”
...According to Huntington Beach Police, Noah was arrested Friday.
Speaking to Fox LA, Pines said “When you punch a blind kid, that’s what made me so mad. I kinda regretted it but I kinda didn’t because if I didn’t Austin would’ve been more hurt...”
