In the event of a nuclear war this was the final message to be broadcast to the public by the government of the United Kingdom. At present there is no warning system in the UK for a nuclear attack following the dissolution of the UK Warning and Monitoring Organisation in 1992 which was responsible for issuing the "Four Minute Warning".
