Massive teacher sick-out in wake of President Obama's Detroit visit - Story | WJBK:
"DETROIT (WJBK) - Dozens of Detroit public schools are closed again Wednesday as teachers continue their protest of poor working and learning conditions.      
You can find the full, current list of school closings here. At last count, 86 schools were involved.
This latest sick-out coincides with President Barack Obama's trip to Detroit and follows Governor Snyder's plea to lawmakers to pass legislation to help the struggling district during his State of the State address Tuesday night.
Later this morning, some teachers are planning to protest outside the Hilton Inn downtown and then march to Cobo Center where President Obama plans to visit the North American International Auto Show..."
