BREAKING: Election Officials Just Caught Throwing Away Trump Ballots | Conservative Daily Post:
"Yes someone in Ohio honestly thought it was a good idea to brag that they were destroying ballots that were considered to be pro-Trump. They also failed to realize that it was against the law to tamper with the mail! But when it was pointed out that this was illegal, they tried to backtrack and say that it was totally legal.
Not only that but there are reports that illegal immigrants suddenly gained the right to vote. Now normally you have to be a United States citizen to vote. But President Obama has made it abundantly clear that he isn’t going to do anything about it."

Academics Write Rubbish Nobody Reads
Academics Write Rubbish Nobody Reads | Foundation for Economic Education:
"Professors usually spend about three to six months (sometimes longer) researching and writing a 25-page article to submit an article to an academic journal.
And most experience a twinge of excitement when, months later, they open a letter informing them that their article has been accepted for publication, and will, therefore, be read by…
… an average of 10 people.
Yes, you read that correctly.
The numbers reported by recent studies are pretty bleak:
- 82 percent of articles published in the humanities are not even cited once.
- Of those articles that are cited, only 20 percent have actually been read.
- Half of academic papers are never read by anyone other than their authors, peer reviewers, and journal editors.
So what’s the reason for this madness?
Why does the world continue to be subjected to just under 2 million academic journal articles each year?
Many academic articles today are merely "creative plagiarism": rearrangements of previous research with a new thesis appended.
Well, the main reason is money and job security.
The goal of all professors is to get tenure, and right now, tenure continues to be awarded based in part on how many peer-reviewed publications they have.
Tenure committees treat these publications as evidence that the professor is able to conduct mature research.
Sadly, however, many academic articles today are merely exercises in what one professor I knew called “creative plagiarism”: rearrangements of previous research with a new thesis appended on to them..."

Wind an even bigger boondoggle than ethanol
Wind an even bigger boondoggle than ethanol - AEI:
"Before we become too hopeful about the prospects of using offshore wind power as a fuel source of the future, let’s not forget that government data shows that offshore wind power cannot survive in a competitive environment without huge taxpayer subsidies.
Today, wind power receives subsidies greater than any other form of energy per unit of actual energy produced.
Sen. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., a key member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, says that public subsidies for wind on a per megawatt-hour basis are 26 times those for fossil fuels and 16 times those for nuclear power.
...Yet, even with these incentives, only 4.7 percent of the nation’s electricity is currently supplied by wind power and that is entirely wind power from on-land turbines.
...Think about it: Four large power plants could produce as much electricity as offshore wind turbines placed side by side along the entire Atlantic seaboard from Maine to Florida.
Moreover, power plants last longer than wind turbines.
A British study found that turbines need to be replaced within 12 to 15 years, and they must be imported from Europe.
In contrast, nuclear and fossil-fuel plants can be built in the U.S. without relying on imports, and, in the case of nuclear power, the vast majority of reactors are licensed to run 60 years and some are expected to operate 80 years or more.
Offshore wind power also has complex transmission requirements.
In addition to being submerged, making installation and maintenance difficult and costly, the cables to bring offshore wind power to coastal areas have run up against strong opposition from conservation and wildlife groups, the fishing and tourist industries, seaside residents and, in some cases, the military, since turbines can interfere with radar systems.
Wind power might sound great in theory until one gets into the details of reliability, efficiency and cost.
It is the electricity sector’s version of corn ethanol — and in recent years has received even more subsidy dollars.
If not for the production tax credit and taxpayer subsidies, plans for offshore wind power would come to a stop."

Computer Programmer Admits To Being Paid To Rig Voting Booths:
"Well, perhaps you should believe Clinton Eugene Curtis. He’s a computer programmer and former employee of ExxonMobil and NASA. He also claims that, at the behest of former Florida Rep. Tom Feeney, he was told to write a program for electronic voting machines that would rig close elections for whoever had control of the program.
Curtis was questioned before Congress in 2004, in this video uploaded by hacktivist group Anonymous. He was asked by attorney Cliff Arnebeck, “Mr Curtis, are there programs that can be used to secretly fix elections?”

If one truly wants to know how American students are doing in school, a look at the Nation’s Report Card might offer a better picture.
Those numbers tell us that not even half of America’s high school seniors are proficient in any subject.
The area they rank the worst in?
The fact that only 12 percent of U.S. high school seniors are proficient in history was recently reflected in another survey put out by YouGov.
That survey asked Americans of all ages how familiar they were with famous leaders, many of whom were prominent Communist leaders from the last century.
As the chart below shows, a number of millennials described themselves as “unfamiliar” with these leaders.

As the chart below shows, a number of millennials described themselves as “unfamiliar” with these leaders.
Perhaps that’s also why these same millennials were unfamiliar with the number of people killed under Communist leadership. In fact, 32 percent of millennials and gen-Xers believed that more people were killed under George W. Bush during his time in office than were killed during Joseph Stalin’s time in power.
...According to Thomas Jefferson, it certainly does.
In 1807 he wrote, “History, in general, only informs us what bad government is.”
In 1807 he wrote, “History, in general, only informs us what bad government is.”
In other words, if we expect our nation to stay on a straight course, then we need to make sure our students have a clear knowledge of governments throughout history – what worked and what didn’t.
Is it possible that our nation is in its current state because recent generations have not learned the lessons which past empires and nations teach us through the history books?"

"The US stock market continues to set new records.
Unemployment continues to go down. The United States is now at or near “full employment”.
According to a Bloomberg headline last year, “The Jobless Numbers Aren’t Just Good, They’re Great”.
But a closer look at economic data by demographer Nicholas Eberstadt reveals something else entirely.
While “unemployment” has gone down, the work participation rate, and especially the male work rate, has been relentlessly declining for most of the post-War era and is now reaching a crisis with Depression-era levels.
While “unemployment” has gone down, the work participation rate, and especially the male work rate, has been relentlessly declining for most of the post-War era and is now reaching a crisis with Depression-era levels.
In his new book, Men Without Work, Eberstadt describes this as a deep moral and social crisis which is passing almost unnoticed by politicians, pundits, business leaders and economists.
What are men doing with their time if not working?
One-sixth of all men of prime working age in America – men aged between 25 and 54 – are not just unemployed, but have stopped looking for jobs altogether.
This is a time bomb with far-reaching economic, social, and political consequences.
Millions of men are becoming dependent, infantilized and sick.
“Unlike the dead soldiers in Roman antiquity,” he writes, “our decimated men still live and walk among us, though in an existence without productive economic purpose. We might say those many millions of men without work constitute a sort of invisible army, ghost soldiers lost in an overlooked, modern-day depression.”
In many ways, this is a disturbing book.
Never before in American history have so many men done absolutely nothing.
Millions are becoming dependent, infantilized and sick.
According to a recent paper by Princeton economist Alan Krueger nearly half of the men who are not looking for work are on painkillers and many are disabled.
They "experience notably low levels of emotional well-being throughout their days and ... they derive relatively little meaning from their daily activities," Krueger found.
And there are 7 million of them. .."

Most important read of the year!-----Why The UN Really Wants Control Over The Internet
Technocracy: Why The UN Really Wants Control Over The Internet
"By its very nature, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) is a non-profit organization exclusively run by Technocrats.
As such, it is an apolitical body that is happy to serve whatever form of governance exists as long as funding is received and salaries are paid.
To a Technocrat, a world run by science and technology is better than any other form of governance.
...The reason that ICANN formerly served the interests of the United States was simply that it answered to our government’s judicial, legislative and executive branches.
In other words, the U.S. held the umbrella over ICANN and that was enough to keep it working for our national interests and not for someone else’s interests.
Obama changed that when he cut ICANN loose on September 30, 2016 by letting the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) contract expire without being renewed.
After expiration, we forever lost the right to renew the contract again.
So, ICANN is now a “free-agent” looking for shelter in the same way that a boll weevil looks for a cotton plant: it needs a host organization in order to practice its craft, and, I dare say, it doesn’t care one whit who that host is.
It is no secret that the United Nations is making a play to become host to ICANN.
In particular, the UN’s International Telecommunications Union (ITU), run by the Peoples Republic of China, is expected to play the central role in this effort.
However, whether it is the ITU or some other UN agency is immaterial because it will still be the UN in the end.
But, why the UN?
Because it is the fountainhead of the plans and operations to establish Technocracy as the sole global economic system while destroying capitalism and free enterprise.
Technocracy is the issue here.
Others know it as Sustainable Development or Green Economy, but the correct historical term is Technocracy.
In February 2015, the head of climate change at the UN, Christiana Figures, stated,
“This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time to change the economic development model that has been reigning for at least 150 years, since the industrial revolution.” [emphasis added]
What is unclear about this?
Sustainable Development, or Technocracy, is a resource-driven economic model regulated by energy rather than by supply and demand plus monetary currencies.
...To achieve its Utopia goals, the UN must have ICANN’s steering wheel and throttle. But while everyone is stressing over Internet censorship of web sites and the suppression of free speech, the real prize is completely overlooked: The Internet of Things (IoT).
In terms of “follow the money”, IoT is expected to generate upwards of $3 trillion by 2025 and is growing at a rate of at least 30 percent per year.
In other words, it is a huge market and money is flying everywhere.
If the UN can figure out a way to tax this market, and they will, it will provide a windfall of income and perhaps enough to make it self-perpetuating..."

"More Americans are scared of clowns than terrorism and dying... but the top fear is a corrupt government
- Polls conducted by Chapman University and Morning Consult find that corrupt government frightens the greatest number of Americans
- Surprisingly, clowns stoked more fear than terrorism
- Also high on the list of fears were infringement of gun rights and economic collapse
More Americans are afraid of clowns than of climate change, terrorism, and dying.
Two polls which surveyed Americans also found that the greatest fear among Americans is corrupt government.
The polls were conducted by Chapman University and Vox / Morning Consult.
The Chapman survey found that 42 per cent of respondents said that they were scared of clowns, compared to just 32 per cent who said they were frightened by climate change.
The poll ranked the fears which included terror attacks (41 per cent), infringement of gun rights (38 per cent), death of a loved one (38 per cent), economic collapse (37 per cent), Obamacare (37 per centlogical warfare (35 per cent).
More Americans are afraid of clowns than they are of terrorism and climate change, two new surveys found...
Fear of clowns was second most prevalent, with 42 per cent saying that they were afraid of them.
Terrorism came in third place, with just 41 per cent saying that they were frightened by the prospect of an attack...
Obamacare proved scarier than biological warfare (35 per cent) and climate change (32 per cent).
Slightly less than one in four Americans said they were scared of heights (24 per cent), and less than one in five (19 per cent) said they were afraid of dying.
The survey results reflect a growing panic over clowns that has gripped the country over the past few weeks.
Percentage of Americans report being afraid of...
Corrupt government - 61 per cent
Clowns - 42 per cent
Terrorist attack - 41 per cent
Gun rights infringement - 38 per cent
Family members dying - 38 per cent
Economic collapse - 37 per cent

Climate change - 32 per cent

Dying - 19 per cent
Needles - 17 per cent
Spousal cheating - 10 per cent
Ghosts - 9 per cent
The hysteria over clowns has even led a number of local townships and municipalities to ban clown costumes because they’ve been deemed ‘too scary.’
The wave of coulrophobia – the medical term for an irrational fear of clowns – sweeping the United States can most likely be traced to an incident that was reported in Greenville, South Carolina, in late August.
Parents at an apartment complex there went into a panic after they heard reports of a clown trying to lure children in the woods.
Management at the Fleetwood Manor Apartments in Greenville issued a warning to parents, saying they had received numerous complaints about a 'clown or a person dressed in clown clothing taking children or trying to lure children [into] the woods'...

Using data from 1971-2010, the researchers found that if the USDA data were correct, then a reference person (a hypothetical American established using algorithmic analysis of the data) would have lost nearly eighty pounds between 1971-1980 and also gained more than 215 lbs. between 1988-2010.
If it were simply the case that the USDA compiled bad data, then there'd be little reason to express alarm.
But it turns out the USDA uses these flawed data to inform and set federal dietary policy.
It's not just the data that's rotten. The laws and policies that are based on that data are inherently rotten, too.
The new research ...found—as I wrote at the time—that the federal dietary guidelines "and the research used to support that work... is so off base as to be scientifically useless."
...Relying on bad data to justify food and dietary laws is as absurd, indefensible, and unscientific as it sounds.
If we can't trust the government to base those food laws and policies that call for science on actual, you know, science, then maybe that's evidence the government should have far less power to craft those laws and policies in the first place."Hillary Clinton Corruption: Foundation Was the Key
Hillary Clinton Corruption: Foundation Was the Key | National Review
"She appears to have used her official powers to do favors for major Clinton Foundation donors.
Felony mishandling of classified information, including our nation’s most closely guarded intelligence secrets; the misappropriation and destruction of tens of thousands of government records — these are serious criminal offenses.
To this point, the Justice Department and FBI have found creative ways not to charge Hillary Clinton for them.
...As we await answers, we can only observe that, whatever the FBI has found, it was significant enough for director James Comey to sense the need to notify Congress, despite knowing what a bombshell this would be just days before the presidential election.
One thing, however, is already clear.
Whatever the relevance of the new e-mails to the probe of Clinton’s classified-information transgressions and attempt to destroy thousands of emails, these offenses may pale in comparison with Hillary Clinton’s most audacious violations of law:
Crimes that should still be under investigation;
crimes that will, in fitting Watergate parlance, be a cancer on the presidency if she manages to win on November 8.
Mrs. Clinton appears to have converted the office of secretary of state into a racketeering enterprise.
This would be a violation of the RICO law — the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act of 1971 (codified in the U.S. penal code at sections 1961 et seq.).
Hillary and her husband, former president Bill Clinton, operated the Clinton Foundation.
Ostensibly a charity, the foundation was a de facto fraud scheme to monetize Hillary’s power as secretary of state (among other aspects of the Clintons’ political influence).
The scheme involved
While the foundation did perform some charitable work, this camouflaged the fact that contributions were substantially diverted to pay lavish salaries and underwrite luxury travel for Clinton insiders.
Contributions skyrocketed to $126 million in 2009, the year Mrs. Clinton arrived at Foggy Bottom. Breathtaking sums were “donated” by high-rollers and foreign governments that had crucial business before the State Department.
Along with those staggering donations came a spike in speaking opportunities and fees for Bill Clinton..."

- (d) a means for Clinton insiders to receive private-sector compensation and explore lucrative employment opportunities while drawing taxpayer-funded government salaries.

Attorney General Lynch 'Pleads Fifth' On Secret Iran 'Ransom' Payments
Attorney General Lynch 'Pleads Fifth' On Secret Iran 'Ransom' Payments | Zero Hedge:
"Attorney General Loretta Lynch is declining to comply with an investigation by leading members of Congress about the Obama administration’s secret efforts to send Iran $1.7 billion in cash earlier this year, prompting accusations that Lynch has “pleaded the Fifth” Amendment to avoid incriminating herself over these payments, according to lawmakers and communications exclusively obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.
Sen. Marco Rubio (R., Fla.) and Rep. Mike Pompeo (R., Kan.) initially presented Lynch in October with a series of questions about how the cash payment to Iran was approved and delivered.
In an Oct. 24 response, Assistant Attorney General Peter Kadzik responded on Lynch’s behalf, refusing to answer the questions and informing the lawmakers that they are barred from publicly disclosing any details about the cash payment, which was bound up in a ransom deal aimed at freeing several American hostages from Iran.
The response from the attorney general’s office is “unacceptable” and provides evidence that Lynch has chosen to “essentially plead the fifth and refuse to respond to inquiries regarding [her] role in providing cash to the world’s foremost state sponsor of terrorism,” Rubio and Pompeo wrote on Friday in a follow-up letter to Lynch, according to a copy obtained by the Free Beacon..."

The Astonishing Ignorance of Young Adults
The Astonishing Ignorance of Young Adults:
"Do you wonder why Sen. Bernie Sanders and his ideas are so popular among American college students?
The answer is that they, like so many other young people who think they know it all, are really uninformed and ignorant.
You say, “Williams, how dare you say that?! We’ve mortgaged our home to send our children to college.”
Let’s start with the 2006 geographic literacy survey of youngsters between 18 and 24 years of age by National Geographic and Roper Public Affairs.
...A few weeks ago, my column discussed the dishonesty of college officials.
Here’s more evidence: Among high- school students who graduated in 2014 and took the ACT college readiness exam, here’s how various racial/ethnic groups fared when it came to meeting the ACT’s college readiness benchmarks in at least three of the four subjects:
However, the college rates of enrollment of these groups were:
Asians, 80 percent;
whites, 69 percent;
Hispanics, 60 percent; and
blacks, 57 percent.
What I am labeling as dishonest, fraudulent, or deceitful comes from the fact that many more students are admitted to college than are in fact college-ready.
Admitting such students may satisfy the wants and financial interests of the higher education establishment, but whether it serves the interests of students, families, taxpayers, and the nation is another question.
To accommodate less college-ready students, colleges must water down their curricula, lower standards, and abandon traditional tools and topics.
Emory University English professor Mark Bauerlein writes in his book “The Dumbest Generation”: Tradition “serves a crucial moral and intellectual function. … People who read Thucydides and Caesar on war, and Seneca and Ovid on love, are less inclined to construe passing fads as durable outlooks, to fall into the maelstrom of celebrity culture, to presume that the circumstances of their own life are worth a webpage.”"

- Less than half could identify New York and Ohio on a U.S. map.
- Sixty percent could not find Iraq or Saudi Arabia on a map of the Middle East, and three-quarters could not find Iran or Israel.
- In fact, 44 percent could not locate even one of those four countries.
- Youngsters who had taken a geography class didn’t fare much better.

The real Islam-----Top 10 Worst Nations on Earth for Gender Equality are All Islamic
Top 10 Worst Nations on Earth for Gender Equality are All Islamic – Michael A. Sherlock (Author): "According to the World Economic Forum’s Global Gender Gap Index (2016), the 10 worst countries for gender equality are those in which Islam is the dominant religious demographic.
This should come as no surprise to anyone who has undertaken even an ounce of research into the core doctrines and common traditions associated with this extremely patriarchal religion.
Whilst Islam is not a monolith and many variations exist with regards to beliefs, practices, degrees of adherence, etc., it is noteworthy that those societies which treat their women the worst all zealously adhere to a religion that sees women as inherently inferior to men.

Hillary Clinton scandals, FBI 'politicization' date back to first lady tenure - Washington Times
Hillary Clinton scandals, FBI 'politicization' date back to first lady tenure - Washington Times:
"The scandals were known as Travelgate and Filegate, and both set off extensive investigations, resignations, charges and countercharges of lying, file-scrubbing and unethical conduct.
The early 1990s shared issues and people with 2016: Twenty years ago, there were the Clintons, of course. There was the “politicization” of the FBI, as one committee report put it. Mrs. Clinton’s staunch defender, Lanny Davis, appeared on TV blasting her critics, as he does today.
The conservative watchdog Judicial Watch sued the Clinton administration then, as it has done more recently, to compel disclosure of her State Department emails, of which more than 30,000 were destroyed — off-limits to the FBI. In the 1990s, White House files also went missing."

Halloween countdown: States, residents get ready for creepy clowns
Halloween countdown: States, residents get ready for creepy clowns:
"Reports of people dressed as creepy clowns in more than 20 states have put many on edge this year.
The phenomenon has even managed to get the attention of the White House, where Press Secretary Josh Earnest was asked about the recent rash of creepy clown arrests on Tuesday.
But as Halloween approaches and all kinds of characters, mostly cute ones, drift up and down neighborhood streets, some are worried about how creepy clown concerns could bleed into a night ordinarily reserved for heaping amounts of candy and harmless pranks.
Here's a look at how people plan to respond to creepy clowns:
Brevard County, Fla.: Two men were charged by Melbourne Police after they allegedly donned clown outfits, armed themselves and chased people, making threats.
There have been some five sightings reported to Palm Bay police and numerous others creating buzz on social media across Brevard.
Some residents say they’ll be exercising their Second Amendment right on Halloween.
“I'll be carrying for sure, I'm not leaving to chance,” said Kimberly Kersey, who will be taking her sons out trick or treating in Palm Bay.
“I'm terrified of clowns already and if one messes with me or my kids it'll be to the hospital or morgue they go.”
From a law enforcement standpoint, patrols will increase across the county on Halloween, which is standard and not impacted by the clown trend..."
