OBAMA'S Defense Deputy ACCIDENTALLY ADMITS Obama White House Spied On Candidate Trump During MSNBC Interview…But WAIT…There's Even MORE To This Story! [VIDEO] » 100percentfedUp.com:

"Accidents are bound to happen when Democrats become so comfortable with their allies in the liberal media that they forget they’re on TV, as they expose themselves and their crooked administration to a national audience.

The Conservative Treehouse does a brilliant job of dissecting the interview between former Obama administration official Evelyn Farkas and MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski. They also offer evidence of a fake disinformation campaign that was spread by the Obama regime about a Trump- Russian connection. "

Jeff Sessions’ DOJ Sanctuary Cities Grant Policy Is Lawful | National Review:

"The attorney general’s announcement is, in reality, not news. He has simply reiterated an element of President Trump’s executive order aimed at “enhancing public safety in the interior of the United States,” signed on January 25.

And the law is on his side. The relevant statute reads:"

My Recent Experiences Where Science Meets Politics

THE DAILY GLOBAL WARMING HOAX REPORT:
"Climate Scientist Tells Congress: Obama Science Czar ‘Put a Target’ On My Back Due to ‘My *Heretical* View’ on Climate....
Image may contain: one or more people"In early 2014, not long after I appeared before Congress, Obama’s science adviser John Holdren testified before the same Senate Environment and Public Works Committee. He was asked about his public statements that appeared to contradict the scientific consensus on extreme weather events that I had earlier presented. Mr. Holdren responded with the all-too-common approach of attacking the messenger, telling the senators incorrectly that my views were 'not representative of the mainstream scientific opinion.' Mr. Holdren followed up by posting a strange essay, of nearly 3,000 words, on the White House website under the heading, 'An Analysis of Statements by Roger Pielke Jr.,' where it remains today.
"I suppose it is a distinction of a sort to be singled out in this manner by the Obama's science adviser. Yet Mr. Holdren’s screed reads more like a dashed-off blog post from the nutty wings of the online climate debate, chock-full of errors and misstatements.
"But when the White House puts a target on your back on its website, people notice.
Almost a year later Mr. Holdren’s missive was the basis for an investigation of me by Arizona Rep. Raul Grijalva, the ranking Democrat on the House Natural Resources Committee.
Rep. Grijalva explained in a letter to my university’s president that I was being investigated because Mr. Holdren had 'highlighted what he believes were serious misstatements by Prof. Pielke of the scientific consensus on climate change.' He made the letter public.
The 'investigation' turned out to be a farce.
In the letter, Rep. Grijalva suggested that I— and six other academics with apparently heretical views—might be on the payroll of Exxon Mobil (or perhaps the Illuminati, I forget).
He asked for records detailing my research funding, emails and so on.
After some well-deserved criticism from the American Meteorological Society and the American Geophysical Union, Rep. Grijalva deleted the letter from his website.
The University of Colorado complied with Rep. Grijalva’s request and responded that I have never received funding from fossil-fuel companies.
My heretical views can be traced to research support from the U.S. government.
"But the damage to my reputation had been done, and perhaps that was the point.
Studying and engaging on climate change had become decidedly less fun.
So I started researching and teaching other topics and have found the change in direction refreshing."

1,400 Michigan Wind Turbines Needed To Replace The Palisades Nuclear Plant [Michigan Capitol Confidential]

1,400 Michigan Wind Turbines Needed To Replace The Palisades Nuclear Plant [Michigan Capitol Confidential]:
"The Palisades nuclear power plant in South Haven is scheduled to close in 2018. That single facility puts out around 720 megawatts of electricity.
A typical wind turbine in Michigan has an average output of about half a megawatt of electricity.
So it would take around 1,400 wind turbines to replace the energy produced by the Palisades plant.
There are currently 883 wind turbines working in Michigan, most in the Thumb region.
Wind energy is intermittent and needs backup sources like natural gas turbines for when the wind doesn’t blow.
Michigan's big utilities have announced they plan to close all their existing coal-fired power plants and replace them with gas-fired power plants and renewable sources, which includes wind.
The federal government gave the wind industry $5.9 billion in subsidies in 2013, the most recent year data is available from the federal Energy Information Administration.
By comparison, nuclear power received $1.6 billion in federal subsidies that year."

Boom!-----Obamacare 'Explosion' Could Come On May 22nd, Here's Why | Zero Hedge

Obamacare 'Explosion' Could Come On May 22nd, Here's Why | Zero Hedge
"After a stunning healthcare defeat last week, delivered at the hands of his own party no less, Trump took to twitter to predict the imminent 'explosion' of Obamacare...
As it turns out, that 'explosion' could come faster than anyone really expects...
As the Atlanta Journal Constitution points out today, the Trump administration has until May 22nd to decide whether they will continue to pursue the Obama administration's appeal to provide subsidies to insurers who participate in the federal exchanges.
Of course, any decision to remove those subsidies would likely result in yet another massive round of premium hikes and further withdrawals from the already crippled exchanges where an astounding number of counties across the country have already been cut to just 1 health insurance provider.
Obamacare 2017And, as we've pointed out before, higher rates = lower participation = deterioration of risk pool = higher rates....and the cycle just repeats until it eventually collapses.
As background, in 2014, House Republicans sued the Obama administration over the constitutionality of the cost-sharing reduction payments (a.k.a. "taxpayer funded healthcare subsidies"), which had not been appropriated by Congress.
Republicans won the initial lawsuit but the Obama administration subsequently appealed and now Trump's administration can decide whether to pursue the appeal or not.
One key to insurers selling plans in the marketplace are reimbursements they receive called cost-sharing reductions. These aren't the same as the tax credits that people receive to help pay their premiums; it is financial assistance to help low-income people pay their out-of-pocket costs, such as deductibles. The Congressional Budget Office projected those payments would add up to $7 billion this year and $10 billion in 2018.

But for insurers, there's a question over how long that money will be delivered, due to an ongoing political and legal dispute about whether the cost-sharing money should be distributed at all.

In 2014, House Republicans sued the Obama administration over the constitutionality of the cost-sharing reduction payments, which had not been appropriated by Congress. The lawmakers won the lawsuit, and the Obama administration appealed it. Late last year, with a new administration on the other end of the suit, the House sought to pause the proceedings — with a deadline for a status update in late May.

The Trump administration and House lawmakers have to report to the judge this spring. If the Trump administration drops the appeal, it would mean the subsidies would stop being paid — a huge blow to the marketplaces and millions of people. If lawmakers wanted the payments to continue, they would have to find a way to fund them. One opportunity for that is coming up fast, the continuing resolution that must be passed by April 28. If the Trump administration continues the lawsuit, it will be in the odd position of fighting its own party.
The CBO estimates the payments would total roughly $10 billion in 2018..."

A very strange story-----FBI agent “didn’t try to stop” Garland jihad attackers — did FBI want Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer dead?

FBI agent “didn’t try to stop” Garland jihad attackers — did FBI want Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer dead?:
"Although we were co-organizers of the event, neither Pamela Geller nor I appear, except in one still photo, in this 60 Minutes piece on the jihad attack at our Garland, Texas free speech event in May 2015.
All they say is that “a self-described free speech advocate named Pamela Geller was holding a provocative contest.”
The contempt fairly leapt from the screen.
“A self-described free speech advocate”?
Does 60 Minutes mean that Pamela Geller didn’t have the requisite degree in free speech advocacy?
Or that she wasn’t really a free speech advocate?
What they really mean, of course, is that she is not on the Left, and so cannot be celebrated as a free speech advocate the way the Charlie Hebdo cartoonists, who were all Leftists, can be.
And they give a nod to Sharia blasphemy laws by describing the contest as “provocative.”
It was an art exhibit, featuring historical and modern images of Muhammad, some created by Muslims.
It was only provocative to Muslims who believe in Islam’s death penalty for blasphemy (and brainwashed dhimmis).
Was 60 Minutes implying endorsement of that death penalty?
Why, yes.
If our event was provocative, the shooters were justifiably provoked.
...The Daily Beast wrote in August 2016 about how this undercover FBI agent encouraged the jihadis.
The Beast’s Katie Zavadski wrote: “Days before an ISIS sympathizer attacked a cartoon contest in Garland, Texas, he received a text from an undercover FBI agent. ‘Tear up Texas,’ the agent messaged Elton Simpson days before he opened fire at the Draw Muhammad event, according to an affidavit (pdf) filed in federal court Thursday.”
...But what was the FBI’s game in telling them to do that?
Why didn’t they have a phalanx of agents in place, ready to stop the attack?
Or did they want the attack to succeed, so that Barack Obama’s vow that “the future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam” would be vividly illustrated, and intimidate any other Americans who might be contemplating defending the freedom of speech into silence?
We have twice asked the FBI for an investigation into this matter.
They have ignored us....

AG Who Charged Activists For Exposing Planned Parenthood Received Thousands In Donations From Planned Parenthood | Daily Wire:

"On Tuesday, Becerra charged David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt of the Center for Medical Progress on 15 felony counts for the role they played in an undercover investigation of Planned Parenthood's "fetal tissue" trade practices. In 2015, CMP began to release videos of the footage they obtained in their undercover operation, some of which featured Planned Parenthood officials and former employees discussing the taxpayer-funded organization's disturbing and potentially illegal practices regarding the selling of the body parts of aborted babies. Though the state of Texas pursued charges against the activists, the charges were eventually dismissed."

THE DEMOCRATS’ FILTHY FLINT WATER.....
"Mayor Dayne Walling, a Democrat, led a cheerful countdown [http://bit.ly/2nyiv1t]at the Flint water treatment plant to press the button moving the city over to river water.
Walling and Darnell Earley, the Democratic emergency manager, even raised glasses in a toast and drank the water [http://bit.ly/1nOrAej] to show that it was safe.
“It’s a historic moment for the city of Flint to return to its roots and use our own river as our drinking water supply,” Walling said. “The water quality speaks for itself.”
Flint’s city council had voted in favor of the move 7-1.
Despite claims about the power of the emergency manager, the switch could not have gone forward without that vote. [http://detne.ws/1MgFVdt]
Even once the problem had surfaced, the EPA knew [http://fxn.ws/1S1nNuJ] and kept quiet.
It was only once the crisis broke, that the Democratic establishment attempted to redirect the blame at Michigan’s efforts to fix broken Democratic cities like Flint using emergency managers.
The war against the emergency managers is not about clean water; it’s about protecting the dirty Democratic politics that destroyed these cities.
Flint’s dirty water had its origins in dirty politics.
The Democratic Party had badly mismanaged the city.
Flint was trying to cut costs, but not in the right place.
Water rates were already murderously high, because around 40 percent of the city’s water was leaking out or being stolen.
Water theft is routine in failed Democratic cities like Flint.
And the thefts often come from the inside.
Warren Southall II, a Flint city employee, illegally turned on water in exchange for bribes.
Last year he was fined, but would not serve any jail time.
Illegal water hookups are everywhere. [http://bit.ly/2nK0EVL] ..."

I took multivitamins every day for a decade. Then I found out they're useless.:
Evidence is sufficient to advise against routine supplementation, and we should translate null and negative findings into action. The message is simple: Most supplements do not prevent chronic disease or death, their use is not justified, and they should be avoided. This message is especially true for the general population with no clear evidence of micronutrient deficiencies, who represent most supplement users in the United States and in other countries. My Friends Think That Being A Socialist Is About Being Nice

My Friends Think That Being A Socialist Is About Being Nice:
"Being a socialist is about being nice?
Do you have a friend who claims to be a socialist?
In the 20th century there have been numerous political systems, but in the latter half of the century there were only two survivors, Socialism and Capitalism.
So we have at this time in the Western world, which for all practical purposes controls the world, two opposing political systems.
Socialism will not work in a free market economy and, as a consequence it invariably deteriorates into a totalitarian state(I have already previously stated that there is no basic difference between socialists and communists.
There are, however, some very important factors relating to socialism of which you should be aware.
Socialism will not work in a free market economy and, as a consequence it invariably deteriorates into a totalitarian state. Anyone wishing to argue that point is asked to point to one single instance where this was not the result).
It therefore behooves us to remember who the worst despotic governments of this century were:

  • Nazis in Germany,
  • Fascists in Italy,
  • Communists in the USSR, [Romania, East Germany, Bulgaria, Hungary, Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia, Poland, Cuba, North Korea, Cambodia, Vietnam, etc.] and
  • China – each and every one of them a paragon of socialist endeavor.

Their leaders; Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin [Ceausescu, Tito, Pol Pot, etc.] and Mao Tse Tung.
The outstanding legacy of these individuals is that they each tried to out-do the others in the total number of their own citizens which they murdered.
It is a fact that each of these men killed more of their own civilian citizens than they lost in military conflict..."

Sessions to Sanctuary Cities: Obey The Law Or Pay The Price [Video]:

"Two months after President Donald Trump warned America’s sanctuary cities they must comply with immigration officials or pay a price, Attorney General Jeff Sessions backed up that warning with his own statement that the day of reckoning is drawing near.

“The American people know that when cities and states refuse to help enforce immigration laws, our nation is less safe,” Sessions said Monday as he took the podium at White House press secretary Sean Spicer’s media briefing, noting that federal officials could “claw back” funds granted to cities that shelter illegal immigrants."
