When something goes wrong there is always a moment that we can trace it back to. For former FBI Director James Comey that moment was on March 20, 2017. 
If you are not familiar with that date let me refresh your memory. 
That day is when Comey began to answer questions under oath before the congressional committee. 
This committee was beginning their investigation into the so-called Russian interference of the 2016 election.
Comey may have thought he would be able to pull a fast one and get out of this questioning relatively unscathed, but he was wrong. 
You see, Comey was not aware of a young congresswoman named Rep. Elise Stefanik asking any questions. 
And, as it turns out, she may have been the one to take James Comey down.
During the intense questioning, Rep. Stefanik ensnared Comey into a trap. 
Rep. Stefanik was able to get Comey to admit that there was an investigation into Trump that started back in July 2016. 
Ok, that is strange, right? 
Why would these intelligence communities begin to investigate a Russia/Trump connection right when he nominated?
