"Totschweigetaktik" is a German word that literally means "death by silence".
Rather than active censorship, totschweigetaktik as a tactic increasingly employed by progressives, simply denies conservative ideas the very air they need to breathe
The internet has become the primary arena, the most important market-place, in the contest of ideas.
But what if that market-place is almost completely controlled by progressive social media monopolies ????
Where can Conservatives voices find ears to hear their message if that very market-place is sealed off to them????
This is the problem we now face.Facebook, Google and Twitter have effectively taken control of the market-place and this progressive triumvirate now holds a power that many governments could only dream of possessing.
The power to only allow out those ideas that serve their purpose.
George Orwell outlined the danger of such power as early as 1945, in a biting critique of the mainstream press.
