CDC Reports Rise in Obesity Related Cancers | PerfScience:
"Obesity-related cancers have witnessed a spike in the United States in the recent years as per the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) report.
The report added that obesity-related cancers accounted for 40 percent of all cancer cases diagnosed in the United States in 2014.

The overall cancer rate has declined across the United States.
The International Agency for Research on Cancer associates 13 cancers with overweight and obesity. As obesity rate has been rising in the United States and other regions across the world, health experts have witnessed a rise in cancer rate.
As per CDC data, nearly 65 percent of the adult population in the United States can be considered as overweight or obese.
Heath experts consider meningioma, multiple myeloma, adenocarcinoma of the esophagus, and cancers of the thyroid, postmenopausal breast, gallbladder, stomach, liver, pancreas, kidney, ovaries, uterus and colon and rectum (colorectal) as cancers related to overweight...
