CNN Anchor Objects to Labeling Leftist Protesters a ‘Mob’
"Brooke Baldwin says description does not apply to the thugs who chased Sen. Ted Cruz and his wife out of a restaurant
For many Americans, it is offensive when a mob of people swarms a senator while he tries to have dinner with his wife in a public restaurant — but to CNN anchor Brooke Baldwin, using the word “mob” is what’s outrageous.
Baldwin reacted Tuesday to Daily Beast columnist Matt Lewis, who talked about how Republican voters are energized after the battle to confirm Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh and all of the antics that accompanied it.
“I believe it’s the overreaction of the Left,” he said. “When you see people like Sen. Ted Cruz [R-Texas] getting chased out of restaurants by a mob —”
Baldwin cut him off.
“Oh, you’re not going to use the ‘mob’ word here,” she said to him..."
