HB19-1042, sponsored by Denver Democrats, Rep. Serena Gonzales-Gutierrez and Sen. Julie Gonzales, extends sanctuary city protections for “vulnerable youth.”
That “vulnerable youth” also includes illegal alien felons.
As reported by Citizens for Secure Borders, Republicans offered an amendment that would require any minor protected by this program, to not have a felony record.
Democrats on a voice vote rejected this common-sense amendment..."
