North River Distillery LLC received $18,600 from the Michigan Department of Agriculture & Rural Development’s Value Added and Regional System Grant Program.
MDARD received 94 proposals and awarded $1.8 million in grants to 20 projects.
North River Distillery will use its grant to buy equipment to make production of its North River Vodka more efficient and economically feasible, Founder Chris Iott said in a news release..."
