Trump’s Ranking: ‘I'm the Most Presidential Except for Possibly Abe Lincoln When He Wore the Hat’
"When giving a closed-door talk to the staff of the U.S. Mission to the United Nations on Thursday, President Donald Trump cited an unnamed source that ranked him on his “presidential” qualities compared to other presidents, according to an audio recording of the talk that the Washington Post published.
“And then they talk about me, and I didn't do anything,” Trump said.
“I don't know if I'm the most innocent person in the world.
“But, you know,” he said, “you look at that--most presidential.
They said I'm the most presidential except for possibly Abe Lincoln when he wore the hat--that was tough to beat.
Honest Abe, when he wore that hat, that was tough to beat.
But I can’t do that, that hat wouldn’t work for me.
But I can’t do that.”
At this point, an audience member said something.
‘Yeah, I have better hair than he did,” Trump responded.
“But honest Abe was tough to beat.”
