"Saw today where 11,000 scientists say we have to reduce world population to survive.
If we do nothing, they say people will die.
They say we need to give up the power of fossil fuels or we're going to die.
But they also say if we do nothing, we're going to die.
They say we must spend billions to stave off most of the global climate catastrophe.
But they also say we must spend billions to survive if we do nothing.
If you look at the costs of the Green New Deal and the life and economic changes it demands, in terms of economic and human costs, its about 6 of one and half a dozen of the other.
If the costs are roughly the same to either deal or not to deal with a proposed "existential crisis" that is unfalsifiable, it seems reasonable to wait it out until we know for sure."
