"Michigan’s major roadways currently don’t require tolls, but the state’s transportation department could study whether they’d be a worthwhile option under legislation passed in the Michigan Senate Tuesday.
Senate Bill 517, sponsored by Republican Sen. John Bizon of Battle Creek, would task the Michigan Department of Transportation with hiring a consulting firm to put together a tolling feasibility study and strategic implementation plan.
