Attorney General Cited 'Mussels' 38 Times, 'Flood' Once In Suit Over Dam That Failed – Michigan Capitol Confidential
"Nineteen days before the Edenville and Sanford dams collapsed in Midland county, flooding more than 2,500 structures and causing more than $200 million in damages, Michigan’s Attorney General filed a lawsuit demanding that the owners raise water levels behind the Edenville dam.
The suit filed April 30 by Attorney General Dana Nessel against Boyce Hydro Power used the term “mussel” or “mussels” 38 times.
