"CNN-South Pole warming at more than 3 times the global rate was breathlessly reported today by all the major news sources owing to a new study in Nature."

The red circles are record high temps and the blue are record lows. 

You will find that there has actually been a slight decline in record highs since 2000. 

Record lows HAVE warmed a bit, from -60 deg F to about -54 deg F!!
