"We should have taken note of the Iowa Democrat caucus because the 2020 election followed the same pattern.
The candidate assumed to be leading (Sanders) was not the preferred candidate,
- so the process was thrown into such chaos by a reporting failures and
- a complicated voice-vote delegate award system,
- the votes could never really be counted or reconciled.
- Pete Buttigieg was anointed the winner over Sanders
- but somehow in the midst of the confusion, Joe Biden, the Democrat establishment favorite whose campaign was on life support at the time, walked away with the most delegates, 14 to Buttigieg's 12 and Sanders' 9.
Sounds a lot like what just happened, doesn't it?"
