"The Ann Arbor Public Schools is not awarding any poor or failing grades to its middle school and high school students during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The school district said its policy is similar to what the University of Michigan, Michigan State University and other public school districts are doing.
Under the COVID-19 policy, students who received a “D” grade will earn credit for the class but not have the “D” grade impact their grade-point average.
