"The basic qualification for being an "expert" is the ability to be correct more times than not when making educated guesses.
That's what we turn to experts for in the first place - based on the assumption that they surpass us in the "educated" part and not the "guessing" part.
None of the "experts" being touted by the American progressive left qualify as experts by that definition.
When you look at the scoreboard of right calls vs. wrong calls on the Covid-19 "pandemic", both Fauci and Birx are tied with flipping a coin, and the rest of them are considerably worse.
Some, like Andrew Cuomo, the noted Emmy winning pandemicist (yes, I invented that word), best-selling author on blame shifting as an effective form of leadership in a time of crisis, and granny killing Hero of the Revolution, are roughly equivalent to getting a tarot card reading over the telephone from Miss Cleo of the Psychic Friends Network.
Being an "expert" should mean something other than being a frequent guest on CNN or just a useful idiot or fellow traveler for the Glorious People's Revolution."
