"Blacks cannot be racist"

"Here's a little something I found at the top of my feed.
This poster is a musician that I sometimes play with.
Very liberal.
Not very bright.
He was an English teacher.
This at first was funny to me.
Here's a prog getting thrown out of the club.
But then I thought about it more.
It is really frightening.
There are two screen shots, one with the original poster and one of the most outrageous subthreads.
BTW, AAVE means African American Vernacular English.
I guess this is the new term for Ebonics but then again maybe not.
Perhaps it is dangerous for a white person to speculate on the distinction.
I think that part of the ugly discrimination that came the way of blacks after the Civil War and beyond was fear that they would exact revenge on whites for slavery.
When educated ones embraced the socialist and progressive stuff in the late 19th and early 20th, that fear would continue in some way.
So now we have these people including white enablers pushing groups like BLM to do exactly the thing that was feared way back when.
They want us to be inclusive but they don't have to be.
We are racist but that doesn't apply to them.
On and on.
It creates distrust and more discrimination.
So I have to think that with the leaders of this movement that they aren't playing to have equal footing. They are playing a game of King of the Mountain.
I don't want to play that way.
How do we stop it without being hateful like these progs?"
