"The messages being sent by the Democrats now and over the next two weeks have less to do with Trump and more to do with them sending a warning to anyone contemplating coming to DC with the same ideas of reform as Trump advanced.
They are warning the next person that they will do anything it takes to destroy them, and they will no longer accept someone not from their approved classes.
And the Republicans are sitting dutifully and quietly by, like good little boys and girls, with their hands clasped in their laps.
"Oh, we always hated him, too," they now say.
"We just couldn't say anything then. Please let us stay in the club."
Tucker Carlson just made a great point, he said that Trump didn't hate his voters like Party elites do, that he ate McDonalds and drank Diet Coke and his supporters knew it.
Tucker noted that Trump bypassed the Country Club in favor of the trailer park, and the elite hated him for that - almost as much as they hate those voters.
Trump loved his voters and his voters returned that love.
And that love begat loyalty, a loyalty that was simply too dangerous to allow to continue.
They would make Trump supporters wear a scarlet "T" sewn to our shirts if they could."
