"The Department of Homeland Security warned law enforcement agencies Wednesday to remain on high alert in coming months for more violence from domestic extremists emboldened by the deadly attack on the U.S. Capitol that former President Donald Trump incited this month.
In a bulletin distributed to police departments across the country, Homeland Security Department officials said the threat of more political violence should be considered “heightened” at least through April 30.
“Information suggests that some ideologically motivated violent extremists with
