The interview was quite a while ago, but still one of the classical examples of a politician being overconfident and getting careless with their words. During most of the interview, CNN anchor Lester Holt had been very patient and reserved about addressing the border situation.

Listen carefully and you'll notice that Lester Holt even wanted to say "You haven't been to the border" one sentence earlier. But Harris interrupted him, Lester Holt paused his speech, and then Harris even doubled down about having visited the border. But in reality, at that point in time, she had not. And so it was game, set and match for Lester Holt."
