No one is saying that people like Amy Schneider should be ridiculed, demeaned, or dehumanized. No one is saying that Amy Schneider should not be allowed to compete on Jeopardy. But let’s stop buying into this psychosis and erasing women’s accomplishments. Amy Schneider is not the first woman to hit a million dollars on Jeopardy. Science and biology make that quite clear. If you want to call him the first trans woman, fine. But let’s stop with the cowardly lying.
