Then Deputy Press Secretary Andrew Bates repeated the same talking point, so it wasn’t just KJP being KJP.

- That is completely untrue. No officers died that day, not one was killed. But what’s shameful is that even now, more than two years later, they’re still lying. And it’s not just Merrick Garland. The White House proved it was a “talking point” by repeating it themselves.
