Deadline Detroit | Ex-Kilpatrick Chief of Staff and Lover Christine Beatty Hasn't Made Restitution Payment Since 2013

"For those who have forgotten, Christine Beatty was (Detroit) Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick's chief of staff who had an affair with the mayor. 

She lied about it under oath during a police whistle blower trial. 

Kilpatick also lied about the affair and about the firing of a police officer investigating him. 

Both did some time for the scandal.
In 2009, Beatty agreed to pay Detroit $100,000 in restitution and do a few months in jail...
