JOHANNESBURG—China’s leader Xi Jinping has upped the ante in his efforts to enlist the Global South in his anti-West “New World Order.”

Xi is promising almost $51 billion in financing to African countries over the next three years, and pledging to put them at the forefront of a global “renewable energy revolution.” - Dave

I find this extremely two faced. 

• He is putting on line nearly 1 new coal fired electric plant a day to supply cheap energy for his country while encouraging other countries to go green. 
• He is also getting many countries to dump the American dollar and use their money for trade...
