We have 9 days of early voting in MI, so I decided I'd wait a few days to avoid the rush and give it a try.
Only one location in the county (in a deep blue area) for most early-voters but since most will be voting absentee, I figured a quick in-and-out at 11am today.
WRONG!
Parking lot seemed busy and folks were coming in from every direction.
A nice-looking 20ish woman was walking in and I asked "are you voting today?"
Is "something" happening?

- She smiled and said yes. I asked why not simply send in her absentee ballot and she said "I don't trust the post office".
- The place was packed, at least 50 in line to begin the process! And all the voting cubbies filled.
- It seemed to be moving along fine but people continued to stream in actually increasing the line
