However, while people are focusing on what happened—and for understandable reasons—I can’t help but ask the question no one else seems to be asking.
Why did she think she could get away with it?...
- She put it in a “best practices” memo that was sent to employees. Washington had to know someone would potentially see all of this sooner or later. That means she felt like she wouldn’t face any repercussions for her actions.
- She felt that her leadership would approve of what she did, even if not directly.
- This is really just an example of how the federal bureaucracy isn’t working for the American people...
