I was remembering Andrew Breitbart and that he famously said politics is downstream from culture.
That is why I think most people misread the 2024 election...I didn’t understand this election was far less political and far more cultural than I anticipated...

• Since history can only be understood through the rearview mirror, it seems clear that people voted based on their approval or disapproval of the cultural changes that began to be forced on American people since Obama assumed the Presidency in 2009...
• We just lived through four years of an administration trying out every bad idea from Orwell’s 1984, Huxley’s Brave New World, Rand’s Atlas Shrugged, Golding’s Lord of the Flies, and Cormac McCarthy’s The Road, followed by a campaign season where one party combined Orwell’s Ministry of Truth with Goebbels’ theories of propaganda.
• More than rejecting a political party, enough people recognized they had been lied to about returning to normal and that there were powerful forces that were looking to create a new normal.

Thank God it was stopped in time.
The fight is not over. 

It can revert as quickly as it was defeated...
