Red state, blue ballot: Dems use direct democracy to flip states | Blaze Media

Red state, blue ballot: Dems use direct democracy to flip states | Blaze Media

It’s astonishing how, across red states, only the Freedom Caucus seems willing to stop the left from using ballot initiatives to shift policy in purple and blue directions — just as it did in Alaska. In Missouri, GOP leadership has repeatedly dismissed Freedom Caucus efforts to rein in initiative petitions, even after the left used that very process to enshrine abortion rights in the state constitution.

In Florida, Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) called a special session earlier this year to address widespread petition fraud. But legislative leaders ignored his request and have been slow-walking reform legislation during the regular session.

Congress is actively debating defunding PBS and NPR — and thank goodness. The networks are leftist propaganda mills.

On Wednesday, the House Oversight Subcommittee on Delivering on Government Efficiency, chaired by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), held a contentious hearing, during which the panel grilled NPR CEO Katherine Maher and PBS CEO Paula Kerger over bias and federal funding.

Maher’s hearing was particularly heated, as various committee members skewered her for the network’s failure to cover certain topics and Maher’s past tweets.

President Trump has issued an executive order requiring proof of citizenship to vote in federal elections -  John F. Di Leo
It’s a simple enough requirement...
  • You need to show your employment badge to use the employees’ entrance at most workplaces;
  • you need to show your health insurance card to get your insurance company’s rates for healthcare.
  • You need to show ID if you want your personal check accepted at a store;
  • you need to show your ticket to enter a concert venue.
In short, if you want to take advantage of any privilege, you need to show that you’re entitled to it.
  • You don’t get a privilege for free.
Every time a child under 18 casts a vote in the United States, he’s canceling out an adult citizen’s vote.
Is that fair?
Every time a citizen of Mexico or Venezuela, or Russia or China casts a vote in the United States, he’s canceling out an American citizen’s vote.
Is that fair?
Even every time a citizen of a different state casts a vote for congressman or senator, that person is cancelling out the vote of legitimate residents of the state in question...

Hope for America's future!-----Nearing the Final Battle Against the Deep State - Clarice Feldman

Nearing the Final Battle Against the Deep State - American Thinker - Clarice Feldman
While numerous federal district court judges have issued ill-conceived restraining orders against the administration, I have long believed that it will prevail in its efforts to place control of the state in the hands of the elected executive, away from the deep state bureaucracy and its black-robed judicial allies.
As the litigation of these matters proceeds, I think my belief will be justified.
  • We will return to a constitutional republican form of government.
For a day-to-day look at the progress of these multiple cases, I urge you to go to X and follow Professor Margot Cleveland, who is (bless her) keeping track of them and providing links to the pleadings and orders...
In a sign that the Administration was prepared for this eventuality, the next day, the Solicitor General filed a motion to vacate the order in the Supreme Court. I concur with Bill Shipley’s take...

In sum, as Shipley writes, the Department of Justice is telling the Supreme Court that these rulings by district courts have “become so commonplace that the Executive Branch’s basic functions are in peril,” and the Supreme Court needs to act, the sooner, the better...

  • A key component of the Trump plan to restore the separation of powers away from the deep state has been the creation of DOGE...

Important read!!-----The average college student today

Most of our students are functionally illiterate. - Hilarius Bookbinder
First, some context. I teach at a regional public university in the US.
  • Our students are average on just about any dimension you care to name—aspirations, intellect, socio-economic status, physical fitness...
  • But what I’m about to describe are the average students at Average State U.
Most of our students are functionally illiterate.
This is not a joke.
By “functionally illiterate” I mean “unable to read and comprehend adult novels by people like Barbara Kingsolver, Colson Whitehead, and Richard Powers.”..
I’m not saying our students just prefer genre books or graphic novels or whatever.
No, our average graduate literally could not read a serious adult novel cover-to-cover and understand what they read.
They just couldn’t do it.
  • They don’t have the desire to try, the vocabulary to grasp what they read and most certainly not the attention span to finish...
Students get exam questions wrong simply because they didn't even take the time to read the question properly.
Reading anything more than a menu is a chore and to be avoided...
They also lie about it...
Read all, it gets worse!

Hmmm...

University of Michigan ends its massive DEI program * WorldNetDaily * by Jaryn Crouson, Daily Caller News Foundation

The University of Michigan announced Thursday it is ending its diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) program. The massive DEI bureaucracy is the largest and most expensive in the nation, totaling over $250 million since 2016. The university has been considering shuttering the program as far back as November but finally announced its plan to "evolve" its approach, which includes closing its DEI office, ending its strategic plan and reviewing "all policies, programs and practices."

The Government Broadband Scam - by Michael Smith

Or how to siphon off federal money to your left-wing constituents without really trying.
Klein was describing what the Biden administration touted as one of their great achievements - the $40 billion broadband program that as of Dementia Joe’s exit had not launched a single project.
The Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) program falls under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act that President Biden signed into law (the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law) in 2021.
  • Klein spent several minutes walking an increasingly skeptical Stewart through the fourteen (yep, 14) step process the states must complete to access to rural broadband funding – before a single piece of hardware is even purchased.
  • Klein steps Stewart through it and at almost the five-minute mark, he gets to: “Step 12: States must run a competitive sub-granting process.”
  • To which Stewart exclaims: ““Oh my f–king God, that’s step 12… after all this has been done?”..

DOGE's top 5 BIGGEST cuts

President Trump has only been in office for a month, and already, he seems to have accomplished more than most presidents do in their entire careers...
  • DOGE is part of Trump's initiative to curb runaway government spending and to start to chip away at the Fed's crushing debt. At the time this article was written, U.S. debt sat at over $36 trillion, with an estimated $1.9 trillion a year federal budget deficit.
  •  According to the U.S. debt clock, Musk and the DOGE crew have already saved more than $136 billion, and that number only keeps growing.
To help track DOGE's progress, we've assembled a list of their top five biggest cuts:

1. USAID - The United States Agency for International Development, or USAID, has been hit with the some of largest cuts out of any government agency and will potentially even be shut down. This comes after Musk and his team revealed theabsurd things USAID was funding, including a transgender opera in Colombia. The total cut came out to approximately $6.5 billion.
2. Department of Education...

NERC warns:
MISO’s capacity resource turnover continues to occur with coal unit contributions being primarily replaced by solar, wind, and battery facilities...
This prompted us to wonder:
  • How soon could we reasonably expect the first blackouts to affect the region, based on announced coal retirements and historical fluctuations in hourly wind and solar generation, as well as electricity demand?
  • And how bad might these blackouts be if more reliable power plants are retired through 2030?...

BREAKING: The MI Department of State has rejected my appeal of their denial of my FOIA request for the MI Qualified Voter File (QVF) transaction log.

The data in this transaction log provides key elements of the election audit trail that would help us determine the following as a minimum: - Patrick Colbeck
  • - Who has access to QVF?
  • - Who seeded the QVF with over 800,000 ineligible voters after Jocelyn "we will come for you" Benson took office?
  • - Why do voter histories change on a monthly basis when who voted in a given election should be fixed after certification?
  • - Who is fraudulently assigning low propensity voters to ballots in cities like Detroit?
  • - Who updated voter records to indicate the 125,428 illegal votes during the 2024 election and later purged these voter histories?
Their refusal to provide the QVF transaction log coupled with Benson's routine directives to clerks to destroy poll book records within 7 days of final canvass (in direct violation of federal law), certainly stinks to high heaven...and appears to violate our right to an audit of statewide elections - a right that is to be liberally construed in favor of the voters.

  • "The government is not efficient, and there's a lot of waste and fraud. So we feel confident that a 15% reduction can be done without affecting any of the critical government services."
