They thrive in environments where the mark - whether an individual or a broader public - accepts the narrative being sold without probing too deeply into its foundations. 

The moment contradictions within the scheme are exposed, however, this fragile structure begins to crumble....
Now think about these:

• - Illegal aliens are ok, deporting violent illegal aliens is not.
• - Oligarchs are bad, except when Democrats do it.
• - The President as near dictatorial powers, but not when it is a Republican.
• - J6 protestors, even the non-violent ones, must be severely punished, BLM and ANTIFA are just expressing free speech so they should be left alone.
• - Everybody should have free speech rights but only if we approve of the speech.
• - Billionaires in politics are bad, unless they support Democrats.
• - Climate change is real, and Tesla cars are saving the environment, but we hate Musk now, so we will trade them in for gas powered cars and then burn the Teslas.
• - Under the Department of Education, education failing more than ever – but the Department of Education must not be disbanded.

That’s the image of the Democrat Party, aka the Democrat Con, that people are seeing – and they can’t reconcile it.
Gonna be hard to come back from this.
