This only confirms what SSB came up with in its statistical analysis of longer temperature datasets.

  • The small ice age from 1450-1850 is considered to be the coldest period in the last 10,000 years after the last ice age. 
Thus, the modest warming we have experienced since 1950 is only one part of a natural trend.
