We're buying critical energy infrastructure from CHINA??!!-----Rogue Devices Capable Of Triggering Blackouts Reportedly Found In Chinese Solar Panels - Audrey Streb

Officials are reportedly reassessing the risk posed by Chinese-made devices found in solar panels that are capable of damaging the energy infrastructure, destabilizing the power grid and triggering widespread blackouts.
Over the past nine months, “rogue communication devices” not listed in product documents were found in solar power inverters and batteries from several Chinese suppliers, according to sources familiar with the matter who spoke with Reuters.
The undocumented devices were found after U.S. experts disassembled the renewable energy equipment to check for security issues, prompting officials to review the potential dangers of the Chinese-made devices, according to the publication.
“We know that China believes there is value in placing at least some elements of our core infrastructure at risk of destruction or disruption,” Mike Rogers, a former director of the U.S. National Security Agency, told Reuters...

One Of Trump’s Most Important Executive Orders Went Entirely Unnoticed I & I Editorial Board

Not long after Michelino Sunseri, a professional mountain runner, finished a race across Grand Teton last fall, he found himself on the receiving end of a Justice Department criminal charge.
His offense? Running on a closed trail, for which he could end up serving six months in jail.
We are not making this up.
Last Friday, President Donald Trump signed an executive order designed to prevent such gross abuses.
It is one of the most important – and underappreciated – actions he’s taken.
  • The “crime” Sunseri committed wasn’t a federal law passed by Congress. It was a crime invented by the National Park Service – one of some 300,000 federal crimes (although nobody knows exactly how many there are) that unelected bureaucrats have conjured up when writing regulations.
  • What’s more, many of these regulatory crimes are “strict liability” offenses, which means that you don’t need to have criminal intent to be charged with a crime.
“This status quo is absurd and unjust,” Trump says in his executive order...

Tucker Carlson Interviews Ed Martin – The Scale of Corruption within the DOJ and FBI are “Much, Much Worse Than People Think”… | Sundance

Ed Martin now carries the authority of the President of the United States to investigate a weaponized DOJ/FBI apparatus.
Within the interview Martin outlines the mysterious motives of the FBI handling of the J6 “pipe bomber” case, alleging that basic investigative steps were overlooked.
“They didn’t interview some of the people that you would have said, ‘That might be a suspect.’ They hadn’t interviewed him,” he said. Raising concerns about the agency’s competence, he added, “The question becomes, ‘what’s happening here?’ Is it incompetence? It feels worse than incompetence.”
When asked by Carlson whether the DOJ is worse than people believe, Martin went further, declaring, “I think it’s worse than incompetence.”...

Breaking: New Inflation Numbers Crush Democrats' Narrative About Trump's Tariff Strategy

Breaking: New Inflation Numbers Crush Democrats' Narrative About Trump's Tariff Strategy:

Guess what? Those naysayers now need new crystal balls. The data showed tariffs haven’t driven up prices as feared. In fact, they’ve forced foreign producers to absorb costs, shielding American consumers.

This isn’t just a policy win; it’s a political smackdown. Democrats built their 2024 campaign on scaring voters about Trump’s economic plans. They lost, and now their narrative is crumbling faster than a stale cookie. The American people aren’t buying the fear anymore.

Trump’s tariffs are doing what he said they’d do: protecting U.S. jobs and strengthening the economy.

Victor Davis Hanson: The Media ‘Jumps the Shark’

It’s time to sett the record straight on “The Media.”
More than 100 days since starting his second term, and the corporate media has nothing good to say about President Donald Trump, and his administration.
  • Elon Musk received negative coverage 96% of the time on evening news, according to an April study conducted by the Media Research Center.
  • Why did the media go from loving Sen. John Fetterman to questioning his mental competency?
Bottom line: What the corporate media, most namely ABC, NBC and CBS, labels “the truth” is wholly dependent on whether it benefits the political Left, argues Victor Davis Hanson on today’s edition of “Victor Davis Hanson: In His Own Words:”...

'Death of women's sports': Male track runner shocks viewers with massive size advantage over female competitors | Blaze Media:

Former NCAA swimmer Kaitlynn Wheeler spoke to Blaze News about the increased pressure states are coming under for allowing these competitions to go unchecked. "If Congress doesn't intervene now, we're not just watching the death of women's sports; we're watching the collapse of basic truth and fairness in America," Wheeler claimed. "Female athletes are being ignored, injured, and erased, while the very institutions designed to protect us, like the NCAA, USA Fencing, and even public schools, are actively violating Title IX and spitting in the face of common sense."

A British Media Outlet Wants To Censor Anyone Who Publishes “Climate Change Counter-Narratives,” Including Me.

Who’s funding the effort? A company backed by Al Gore’s investment firm. - Stephen Heins
Last month, a new media outlet called Tortoise Media launched a database called “Hot Air,” which it claims is “making sense of climate misinformation.”
The database includes “274 online actors,” a group that includes David Turver, Roger Pielke Jr., Bjorn Lomborg, Jordan Peterson, Alex Epstein, Tom Nelson, me, and many others who are committing the sin of “frequently disseminating climate change counter-narratives.”..
But here’s the real reason for the database:
Tortoise says that “pressure on platforms to filter out misinformation has given way to an online ecosystem that favors free speech — sometimes at the expense of leaving falsehoods unchecked and allowing conspiracy theories to become widespread.”
What a load of flaccid piffle...
Let’s be clear: Tortoise, an online outlet based in the UK, is saying there’s too much free speech, and thus, it’s tacitly endorsing censorship for people who don’t toe the line on the official climate narrative...

Wasting OPM!-----Pandemic-era lawsuit over gun at Michigan Zoom meeting is settled for $100,000 | WOODTV.com

TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. (AP) — A Michigan county has settled a lawsuit over an elected official who flashed a rifle during a COVID-19-era public meeting on Zoom.
Patricia MacIntosh accused Ron Clous of trying to silence her right to free speech when he displayed the rifle during a 2021 meeting of Grand Traverse County commissioners.
The county last week approved a $100,000 deal with MacIntosh, the Traverse City Record-Eagle reported. Insurance will cover it.
Clous, who is no longer a commissioner, also apologized...
The incident occurred during the COVID-19 pandemic when the county board held public meetings over video conference.
  • During the public comment period, MacIntosh had urged commissioners to make a statement opposing anti-government extremists, a few weeks after the U.S. Capitol riot.
  • That’s when Clous, a commissioner who was participating from home, left the screen and returned with a rifle...

The US Navy is Sleepwalking into Defeat - CDR Salamander

This last quarter century’s process has a record of consistently producing sub-optimal performance.
This isn’t just my opinion.
  • Look at everything from how we manage our people using a Cold War framework, to program management that cannot design a laudable warship or a fit-for-purpose airwing, to the shambolic results of Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, and the Horn of Africa.
  • The results speak for themselves.
...we have to look at the potential conflict that presents the greatest danger to our nation’s power, economy, and that of our allies—the threat that would, if it has its way, change the international order in ways that will reverse centuries of progress.
  • That challenge is in the Pacific.
To fight and win, there is one simple thing that is common to all wars, but in the Pacific is an order of magnitude greater, because of time, distance, and geography for a sea power coming from the other side of the planet to fight: logistics...

New Beard, Same Buttigieg Stephen Green

I wish I could locate the Twitter wit who said, during the Biden administration, that "Pete Buttigieg is so bad at being Secretary of Transportation that people actually know the name of the Secretary of Transportation."
That line stuck with me — because it’s true.
And yet, here he is again, back on the virtual campaign trail with a town hall-style appearance for Vote Vets in Iowa.
  • Nothing seems to stand in the way of the unaccomplished former Indiana mayor taking another stab at his party's presidential nomination — and he's so serious about rebranding himself that he's even grown a beard.
  • The beard jokes write themselves, but I'm not here to take cheap shots at Buttigieg; I'm here to take high-class, data-rich cheap shots.

Instapundit - GEORGE GASCON SMILES

...under California‘s youthful offender law because they committed the crime under the age of 26.

GEORGE GASCON* SMILES: Menendez brothers have sentenced reduced to 50 years in prison opening possibility for parole.

Erik and Lyle Menendez are eligible for parole 35 years after they were imprisoned for murdering both of their parents.

The brothers faced Los Angeles County Superior Court on Tuesday, where Judge Michael Jesic reduced their sentences from life without parole to 50 years to life.

This change means they’re now eligible for parole under California‘s youthful offender law because they committed the crime under the age of 26.

* Which means George Soros smiles.

Gascon may have been tossed out of office, but plenty of Soros-backed D.A.s remain.

The Chinese admit that Joe Biden’s weakness fed their trade depredations - Andrea Widburg

First, it reveals how utterly feckless Joe Biden was and, second, it reveals how America benefits from a manifestly strong president.
Here’s Bessant explaining that the groundwork for the deal was already laid by the agreements reached with China during Trump’s presidency, deals China unilaterally ignored because it rightly understood that Biden was too weak to matter:

Here’s the money quote:

...The Chinese delegation basically told us that, once President Biden came into office, they just ignored their obligations.

US Tariffs and What’s Next for Canada: Trump’s Strategy Through a Canadian Lens

Unlike the United States, Canada’s economy relies largely on exports, which made up about one-third of its GDP in 2023.
In contrast, U.S. exports accounted for just 11 percent of its economy that year.
At the same time, more than 75 percent of total Canadian exports went south of the border in 2023, while Canada received only 18 percent of total U.S. exports that year...
  • China Would Use Canada as a ‘Storehouse of Natural Resources’
The United States may require Canada to align with its China trade policy as a condition for continued access to the U.S. market, says Crowley, particularly to ensure Canada does not become a “backdoor” for Chinese goods entering America...
“That will be a tough pill for the Liberal Party of Canada to swallow because they have, to a considerable extent, hitched their wagon to China as a rising power,” he said, arguing that the Liberal Party “has been an active promoter of China as an important partner for Canada for many years.”
  • In addition to aligning with the United States on trade policy, Crowley says Canada must also contribute more on security and defense.
  • “I think the biggest role that we play in that is that we have become a haven for money laundering, for the people who are actually behind the drug trade, which is mostly China,” he said...

Okay... Here's the Truth About the Qatar Jumbo Jet Story - Matt Margolis

The Democrats have been desperate to find a scandal to pin on Trump, and their latest attempt may be the stupidest yet.
It was recently reported that the Trump administration is gearing up to accept a high-end Boeing 747-8 jumbo jet from the Qatari royal family—a luxury aircraft that will serve as a temporary Air Force One during President Trump’s second term.
  • Naturally, the left is already losing its mind, but here’s the reality: this is a win for taxpayers.
In the wake of media hysteria over the offer from Qatar to provide the United States with an aircraft, Buzz Patterson, a retired Air Force pilot, White House military aide, and carrier of the nuclear football, has stepped in to inject a dose of reality—and firsthand experience—into the conversation...

Are Democrats Normalizing Political Violence?

Democrat leaders are normalizing political violence, forbidden by our Constitution, statute, and 250 years of history. - Robert B. Charles
They know it.
They are playing with fire, hoping to provoke nationwide anti-Trump violence this summer.
Chaos is the last refuge of the ideologically bankrupt.
  • June 2020 was the first salvo of the neo-socialist push to normalize violence...in the words of one leftist member of Congress, class warfare was pushed to the point of “getting in their faces,” pushing violent encounters.
  • By summer of 2020, the friction created was a tinderbox, and thus, when an event involving a police officer was able to be stoked as basis for violent riots, they followed, destroying 200 cities, in many places – like Atlanta- wiping our decades of racial harmony, progress, and business development.
  • But this was not the end. When the renormalizing, judicially sound, Supreme Court decision in Dobbs, returned determinations of life and abortion to the states, the then-House Speaker, Democrat Nancy Pelosi urged the left to take their “anger to the streets,”...
  • The then-Majority Leader of the Senate, Charles Schumer, told the world gloves were off, Supreme Court justices “would pay,” even after recent upticks in anti-traditional violence on a baseball field with congressmen, against parents at schoolboard meetings, targeting anti-abortion advocates.
Now, we come to today...
The Democrat cards are suddenly limited, and so – as Marxists do – they are turning to violence...

The Decivilizing of America - Victor Davis Hanson

From secure borders to functioning cities, America is shedding the hard-won pillars of civilization—by choice, not chance—in a sweeping, top-down descent into disorder.
  • Secure borders and stationary populations were considered the mark of emerging civilization by classical historians.
  • In contrast to nomadism and constant strife over disputed territory, peoples who had clearly defined and protected borders ascended to statehood, maintained a distinct culture, and achieved greater prosperity and security.
In contrast, what we suffered from 2021 to 2025 was unprecedented.
It was an intentional administration effort to de-civilize the nation by destroying its borders—as if to return to the premodern era, when there were no clearly defined or secure borders, and nomadic peoples migrated as they pleased.
  • Stranger still, illegal aliens were at times given precedence over citizens—as immigration law was simply discarded...

Biden Team Pumped $100 Billion Into NGOs, Green Energy Scams After Trump Win

Energy Secretary Chris Wright: “They basically tried to set bombs to make it hard for us to unwind the mess they’d created. “ -  Leslie Eastman
He has been busy untangling the web of climate cult financing.
He has discovered that in the final weeks of the Biden administration, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) accelerated the allocation of nearly $100 billion in green energy loans and commitments.
He reviewed the numbers while being interviewed by Maria Bartiromo on Fox Business.
  • Wright noted that the $100 billion far exceeded the total amount the DOE’s Loan Programs Office (LPO) lent in the previous 15 years (about $42 billion)...

The Great Reset just got a North American enforcer in Ottawa | Blaze Media

The Great Reset just got a North American enforcer in Ottawa | Blaze Media:

Mark Carney’s sudden rise to power in Canada didn’t come through a traditional political path — and that’s exactly what makes him so dangerous. He’s not a grassroots leader or a battle-tested public servant. He’s a seasoned progressive globalist, handpicked by the elites for a much bigger purpose: to serve as a North American enforcer for the Great Reset.

Now serving as Canada’s newly elected prime minister, Carney holds one of the most powerful political positions in the Western hemisphere. With deep roots in central banking and a long history of pushing radical climate and financial agendas, Carney sits atop one of America’s most influential allies, and his ascent couldn’t come at a more pivotal time for the future of Western freedom.

Pre-election lies!!!-----Labor Department Admits Hundreds of Thousands of Biden Jobs Were Fake

Labor Department Admits Hundreds of Thousands of Biden Jobs Were Fake - EJ Antoni, Ph.D.
The Biden administration claimed to have added almost 400,000 jobs from July through September of last year, but new data released this week suggest none of those jobs ever existed.
Despite constantly gaslighting by the mainstream media, Americans knew the economy was in poor shape and these latest numbers prove it.
Month after month, the government bean-counters under former-president Biden published overly optimistic estimates for everything from job growth to the size of the economy, only to have those numbers routinely—and quietly—revised down later...
This more accurate dataset was just released by the BLS for the third quarter of last year, which ran from the start of July through the end of September.
  • In stark contrast to the monthly job reports showing an increase of 399,000 jobs during the third quarter, these new numbers show a decline of 1,000 private-sector jobs...

Trump Admin Sets Out To ‘Fix’ Everyone’s Least Favorite Car Feature

"EPA approved it, and everyone hates it, so we’re fixing it." - Zach Jewell
President Donald Trump’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is on a mission to “fix” the despised start/stop technology in newer cars that shuts down a vehicle’s engine when stopped in traffic or at a red light in the name of conserving fuel and saving the planet...

Incomplete Data: One-Third of American Cities No Longer Report Crime Statistics to the FBI - The Truth About Guns

Tracking crime statistics – and more importantly, whether or not crime is rising or falling in the United States – is getting harder to do.
That’s because nearly a third of America’s cities are no longer reporting crime statistics to the FBI. - Salam Fatohi
It also means that some policymakers are demanding bad policy because they’re relying on incomplete data.
  • The Marshall Project reported that 31 percent of the 18,000 law enforcement agencies across the U.S. failed to report crime data to the FBI’s national database after transitioning to a new data collection system, according to the latest statistics from the FBI...

'It must become law': U.S. Senate candidates in 'toss-up' states co-sponsor bill to ELIMINATE women's sports * WorldNetDaily * by Adam Pack, Daily Caller News Foundation

'It must become law': U.S. Senate candidates in 'toss-up' states co-sponsor bill to ELIMINATE women's sports * WorldNetDaily * by Adam Pack, Daily Caller News Foundation:

Two congressional Democrats seeking to win "toss-up" Senate contests in states won by President Donald Trump are co-sponsoring legislation that would eliminate female-only spaces and infringe on the right of girls and women to compete against only members of their own sex in sports. Democratic Georgia Sen. Jon Ossoff and Democratic Michigan Rep. Haley Stevens, who voted against legislation to bar biological males from women's sports earlier this year, are backing the Equality Act, a bill that would make "gender identity" a protected class under federal anti-discrimination law.

Previous posts (here, here, and here) have detailed how a second-hander company, trying to be all things to all people, and living off of special government subsidies, was a liability parading as an asset.
Sunnova was never profitable, and the only winners among the countless thousands involved with the company were founder and CEO John Berger (inflated salary and cashouts) and some other executives paid for misallocating resources...Notice “by the numbers” above.
  • Unprofitable companies try to chalk up moral victories, while hiding the bottom lines and the analysis behind them. Enron was great at that–so was Berger’s Sunnova.

FBI's Dan Bongino posts update on agency's work under Trump * WorldNetDaily * by Jim Hoft, the Gateway Pundit

FBI's Dan Bongino posts update on agency's work under Trump * WorldNetDaily * by Jim Hoft, the Gateway Pundit:

I'd like to update you on some things that I think are going well, and some things that we can, and will, do better. The workforce has been working overtime on task force operations to remove dangerous illegal aliens from the country. The work continues. The message is clear. If you came here illegally to prey on our citizens, your days here are numbered. These removal and incarceration operations will dramatically change the crime landscape in the country when combined with the administration's laser-focus on sealing the border shut. Expect these operations to ramp up, not slow down.

Want to defend America? Start by watching who buys the land | Blaze Media:

Your town’s zoning board may be the only thing standing between the Chinese Communist Party and critical US resources. That’s not hyperbole — it’s already happening.
We’ve all seen the headlines: More and more U.S. land is being bought up by foreign nationals. It’s an alarming trend — one that should concern every American.

Foreign adversaries, often with ties to the Chinese Communist Party, are purchasing U.S. farms and land. While Chinese-owned agricultural land remains a small piece of the pie of the country’s total agricultural land, the amount has increased significantly in recent years.

Trump Urges SCOTUS to Permit End of Biden-Era Mass Migration Pipeline

Trump Urges SCOTUS to Permit End of Biden-Era Mass Migration Pipeline:

President Donald Trump’s Department of Justice (DOJ) is urging the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) to permit the administration to end a parole pipeline, created by former President Joe Biden, that imported more than half a million migrants to American communities.

This is BIG - Documents reveal Democrats in Maine have been using USAID money to pay for their campaigns

Clarice Feldman - Wall Street Apes @WallStreetApes Subscribe... | Facebook - Clarice Feldman - Wall Street Apes@WallStreetApes
“Were about 10-15% of the way through reviewing all 4,500 of these documents — The early story appears to be that the Governor Janet T. Mills administration has been using taxpayer dollars like the USAID Fund.
They've been using no bid contracts to funnel money to nongovernmental organizations.
And those NGOs are run by individuals who are friendly with their reelection efforts, friendly with what the administration is doing.
And this money includes, by the way, federal dollars, Covid dollars, even emergency funding for Lewiston shooting response has been funneled to friendly NGOs.”
