"We're from the government......"-------------The Belarusian Connection

Obama's geniuses hired "experts" from Belarus?
Not USA?
Is there even more to this idiocy?

The Belarusian Connection | Washington Free Beacon:
"U.S. intelligence agencies last week urged the Obama administration to check its new healthcare network for malicious software after learning that developers linked to the Belarus government helped produce the website, raising fresh concerns that private data posted by millions of Americans will be compromised.

The intelligence agencies notified the Department of Health and Human Services, the agency in charge of the Healthcare.gov network, about their concerns last week.

Specifically, officials warned that programmers in Belarus, a former Soviet republic closely allied with Russia, were suspected of inserting malicious code that could be used for cyber attacks, according to U.S. officials familiar with the concerns."

» Students Sign Petition To Have Gun Owners Executed In Concentration Camps Alex Jones' Infowars: There's a war on for your mind!:
"Media analyst Mark Dice has once again documented how many young Americans are completely disconnected from reality, capturing California college students signing a fake petition to imprison all legal gun owners in concentration camps and even to have them executed.
“We just want to make sure we disarm the citizens. We can trust the government to be the only ones with guns.” Dice said to students on campus in San Diego, while they unquestioningly signed the petition to “repeal the Second Amendment.”
“These peasants don’t need guns,” Dice stated, adding “We want to put all registered gun owners in prison,” prompting one student to replay “Yes, it’s too dangerous.” for people to own guns.
“It’s just a simple repeal of the Second Amendment and we’ll be terminating and executing all of the gun owners.” Dice told another signatory who replied “OK, thank you.” and walked off."

Is this "lifestyle" really something our society ought to encourage? ------Steroid Use Much Higher Among Gay and Bi Teen Boys

Steroid Use Much Higher Among Gay and Bi Teen Boys « CBS DC:
"Gay and bisexual teen boys use illicit steroids at a rate almost six times higher than do straight kids, a “dramatic disparity” that points up a need to reach out to this group, researchers say.
Reasons for the differences are unclear.
The study authors said it’s possible gay and bi boys feel more pressure to achieve a bulked-up “ideal” male physique, or that they think muscle-building steroids will help them fend off bullies.
Overall, 21 percent of gay or bisexual boys said they had ever used steroids, versus 4 percent of straight boys."

Things did not go as planned for Benson."

Delegate Bob Marshall noted in support of his HB 1219 recently introduced in the Virginia General Assembly.

Marshall introduced his bill in direct response to incidents precipitated by county officials who threatened Virginia citizen farmer Martha Boneta.
Boneta gained national attention after she was cited and threatened with $5,000 per-day fines for hosting such 'menacing activities' as a birthday party for eight 10-year old girls without a permit and advertising pumpkin carvings. Virginians rallied at two "pitchfork protests" in support of Boneta."

The Gray Lady, America’s Paper of Record, where readers turn to find “All the News That’s Fit to Print,” has gone off the deep end.

Last Friday, the paper published a huge story. Christie Knew About Bridge Lane Closings, Port Authority Official Says,” the headline screamed.
Huge.
......The article went on to prove — nothing.
No proof whatsoever of the “evidence” (which was highlighted by the weird wording “had the evidence” — does that mean he no longer “has” it?)
Still, the claim was shocking.
And it directly targeted a sitting U.S. governor, who just happens to be the front-runner for the Republican nomination for president in 2016.

OMG! We've got our own version of Kim Jung Un!----------'Not even a SMIDGEN of corruption': Obama DOUBLES DOWN on IRS targeting denial

'Not even a SMIDGEN of corruption': Obama DOUBLES DOWN on IRS targeting denial | The Daily Caller:
President Barack Obama again denied any wrongdoing by the IRS over their targeting of conservative tea party groups, telling Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly there was “not even a smidgen of corruption” in the way the tax enforcer processed tea partiers’ 501(c)4 paperwork.
O’Reilly spoke with the president just before the Super Bowl on Sunday, touching on the Obamacare rollout and the Benghazi attacks as well as the IRS scandal. He asked Obama if it “was the biggest mistake of your presidency to tell the nation, over and over, if you like your insurance you can keep your insurance.”
“Oh, Bill, you’ve got a long list of my mistakes in my presidency,” Obama began, waving dismissively at O’Reilly.
“But no, really,” O’Reilly continued, “for you, isn’t this the biggest one?”
Obama said that he had already expressed regret over his words and that his administration was working to fix the problem for the millions who have lost their coverage since October. But O’Reilly wasn’t quite finished. “It’s in the past, but isn’t that the biggest mistake?” he asked. “You gave your enemies a lot of fodder with it.”
“You were very generous in saying I looked pretty good, considering I’ve been in the presidency for five years,” Obama said. “And I think part of the reason is, try to focus not on the fumbles but on the next plan.”
The interview became more contentious when O’Reilly brought up Benghazi. The Fox reporter tried to pin the president down on whether he knew that the attacks were carried out by terrorists — despite White House claims they were part of a spontaneous protest caused by an anti-Islamic Youtube video.
Obama tried to explain away the controversy by blaming the fog of war. But again, O’Reilly persisted. “Your detractors believe that you did not tell the world it was a terror attack because your campaign did not want that out,” he claimed.
“And they believe that because folks like you are telling them that!” Obama shot back, taking a not-so-subtle dig at Fox. “And what I’m saying is that is inaccurate.”
The president also refused to acknowledge that the IRS illegally targeted tea party groups in the run-up to the 2012 election. “Absolutely wrong,” he said when O’Reilly broached the subject. “These kinds of things keep on surfacing, in part, because you and your TV station will promote them… We’ve had multiple hearings on it!”
“So you’re saying there was no corruption there at all?” O’Reilly asked.
“Absolutely not,” the president replied. “There were some bone-headed decisions out of a local office.”
“But no mass corruption?” O’Reilly persisted.
“Not even mass corruption,” a visibly-annoyed Obama replied. “Not even a smidgen of corruption.”
It’s a far cry from Obama’s May 2013 statement called the targeting “outrageous.” But it was more in line with the answer he gave to MSNBC’s Chris Matthews in December, when he dismissed all the outrage over a simple “list” made by IRS bureaucrats to make their jobs easier. (RELATED: Obama dismisses IRS targeting of conservatives: ‘They’ve got a list, and suddenly everybody’s outraged’)

Joe Namath, New York football royalty as MVP of the third Super Bowl for the Jets, wore a fur coat for the coin toss. After a false start on the first attempt, the Seahawks called tails, and they were right. Seattle deferred to the second half.

Remember. They're only handling the insurance contacts. Wait till they take over the entire system!-----HealthCare.gov can’t handle appeals of enrollment errors

HealthCare.gov can’t handle appeals of enrollment errors - The Washington Post:

"Tens of thousands of people who discovered that HealthCare.gov made mistakes as they were signing up for a health plan are confronting a new roadblock:

The government cannot yet fix the errors.

Roughly 22,000 Americans have filed appeals with the government to try to get mistakes corrected, according to internal government data obtained by The Washington Post.

They contend that the computer system for the new federal online marketplace charged them too much for health insurance, steered them into the wrong insurance program or denied them coverage entirely.

For now, the appeals are sitting, untouched, inside a government computer.

And an unknown number of consumers who are trying to get help through less formal means — by calling the health-care marketplace directly — are told that HealthCare.gov’s computer system is not yet allowing federal workers to go into enrollment records and change them, according to individuals inside and outside the government who are familiar with the situation.

Delusional never-been, rants-----Former NY Times Columnist Claims Fox News Is 'Dead,' And Liberals Should Stop Protesting It

Former NY Times Columnist Claims Fox News Is 'Dead,' And Liberals Should Stop Protesting It | NewsBusters:

Former New York Times columnist Frank Rich wrote a long attack piece on Fox News for New York magazine theorizing that the Left pays too much attention to “waning” Fox News and gives them too much cachet by opposing them fiercely. It's called "Stop Beating a Dead Fox."

Fox never succeeds on its own. Liberals have the power to make it succeed:
In truth, Fox News has been defeated on the media battlefield—and on the political battlefield as well. Even the 73-year-old wizard of Fox, Roger Ailes, now in full Lear-raging-on-the-heath mode as -portrayed in my colleague Gabriel -Sherman’s definitive new biography, The Loudest Voice in the Room, seems to sense the waning of his power. The only people who seem not to know or accept Fox’s decline, besides its own audience, are -liberals, including Barack Obama, whose White House mounted a short-lived, pointless freeze-out of Fox News in 2009, and who convinced himself that the network has shaved five points off his approval rating.

Ailes would like the president and everyone else to keep believing he has that clout. But these days Fox News is the loudest voice in the room only in the sense that a bawling baby is the loudest voice in the room. In being so easily bullied by Fox’s childish provocations, the left gives the network the attention on which it thrives and hands it power that it otherwise has lost.
and it needs a fact check....

Rather than waste time bemoaning Fox’s bogus journalism, liberals should encourage it. The more that Fox News viewers are duped into believing that the misinformation they are fed by Ailes is fair and balanced, the more easily they can be ambushed by reality as they were on Election Night 2012. We are all fond of quoting the Daniel Patrick Moynihan dictum that “everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not his own facts.” But we should start considering the possibility that it now works to the Democrats’ advantage that Fox News does manufacture its own facts.

Cost of Generic Drugs Soaring Due to Increased Demand from Obamacare

Cost of Generic Drugs Soaring Due to Increased Demand from Obamacare:
"The pervasive use of generic over brand-name medications was anticipated to be a money-saver, but recently prices are soaring, even up 6,000 percent for some common drugs that were once fairly low-cost.
As National Journal reports, pharmacists are perplexed about the huge price hikes in many drugs and are asking Congress to hold a hearing to look into the matter.
Generic drugs such as Pravastatin, which treats high cholesterol, and the antibiotic Doxycycline spiked upwards of 1,000 percent in 2013, according to a survey by the National Community Pharmacists Association.
According to the survey, 77 percent of pharmacists said they experienced 26 or more instances of a large increase in the acquisition price of a generic drug within the last six months of 2013."

Jordan Sekulow of the American Center for Law and Justice, which is suing the government on behalf of 41 conservative and tea party groups after allegations of targeting by the Internal Revenue Service, said he wasn’t surprised that Obama did not mention the controversy.

“They’re taking every step possible to minimize this scandal and the targeting that was done,” Sekulow said.

Another Obamacare Horror Story Which Won't Get Further Than Local News | NewsBusters

Small business employees react to life changes necessitated by Affordable Care Act
Outside Simonetta’s Collision and Car Care in McKeesport, it's a frigid 2 degrees.
Inside, Gary Simonetta's employees are getting ready for a meeting he’s been dreading for months.
“What I have here is the benefits sheet from last year. What you were on in 2013," said Charles Moore, co-owner of Triangle Benefits Service and the broker who has handled the company's group health insurance for 19 years. "Here is the new plan we had to switch to that takes into account the Obamacare regulations.”
For the first time, employees were finding out how the Affordable Care Act will affect their medical coverage and how much they'll pay for it.
Last year’s 6 percent premium increase has now exploded to an average 32 percent jump.
"That 32 percent increase includes increasing the deductible, as well to try and get something modestly priced,” Moore explained.
Jeff and Dave used to have a $1,250 deductible. Since Obamacare went into effect, it's now jumped 60 percent to $2,000.
That's nothing compared with Brian, Christy and Judy who have kids. They'll pay twice that at $4,000.
... Co-pays are up too.
... 42-year-old Jeff's in the same boat.
"Wake up, America. This isn't acceptable. It's not acceptable," he said.
Higher premiums and much higher deductibles. Wow.
Read and watch the whole thing, up to and including what's happening to the owner's own premium.
For every supposedly "good news" story about Obamacare the administration trots out — and, predictably, some of them are questionable — there are many times more stories like these which the nation's establishment press is consistently ignoring.

The Super Bowl features the classic pocket passer in Denver's Peyton Manning against Seattle's quick-footed, quick-witted scrambler in Russell Wilson, who represents the new guard at quarterback in the NFL along with the likes of Robert Griffin III, Colin Kaepernick and Cam Newton.

Seattle's defense will be looking to make Manning uncomfortable by forcing him outside the passing pocket.

Denver, meanwhile, will try to contain Wilson by keeping him in the pocket and prevent him from making plays by scrambling.

Both teams are 15-3 and have relied on their quarterbacks to get them here, despite their different styles."

Obama's Weaponization of Government

Obama's Weaponization of Government - Forbes:

"Everyone in the House Chamber knew something that the American people have yet to fully grasp and Republicans have yet to demonstrate an ability to combat – that their government has grown so large, so complex, so involved in virtually every aspect of their lives, that it is now being used as a weapon to by a small segment of the ruling political class.

The weaponization of government is happening and it’s time Americans took notice.

For all the folks – primarily on the left – who screamed and yelled that the Patriot Act was shredding the Constitution, far more intrusive tactics that have nothing to do with the NSA or Homeland Security are being deployed right under our noses during this Administration.
Those tactics reduce every Americans’ personal and economic freedom.

There is a dangerous arrogance of power among the President and senior-level Democrats that should concern every American.

Last week a senior United States Senator gave a speech stating that the IRS should be used to target and punish groups that disagree with the Democratic Party’s political agenda.
Sen. Chuck Schumer stated...
“…there are many things that can be done administratively by the IRS and other government agencies — we must redouble those efforts immediately."
